Knowio has been designed to give the right balance of permissions that allow for maximum control, restricting who can do what, without losing the flexibility that organisations require to get the efficiencies they are looking for.
Four user levels, and growing.
App Standard - typical employee that you would give a key to. They can open and close padlocks and gates, arm and disarm security systems, but nothing more. They may be responsible for gates being opened or closed so can see the status of sensors too.
App Manager - manages access, but cannot edit the site configuration. A manager can add and remove standard users, see logs, see users and can create rules, but cannot do anything regarding site configuration, except for adding new pieces of hardware.
App Admin - has total control over both users, site configuration and hardware/devices, being able to add and remove devices, change names etc.
Portal Admin - has full access to all sites within an account via our desktop portal control, with an ability to add and delete users, create and delete groups and in essence have total control over the portfolio of people and devices.
